We are introducing this new method of cardiac output monitoring on A6 CICU, as an alternative to PiCCO. It is not intended as a replacement for PA Catheter measurements.
The device is multi function but for now we are using FloTrac.
The FloTrac system automatically updates advanced parameters every 20 seconds. (can be altered in variable AF)
The FloTrac sensor connects to any existing arterial catheter. It requires access to the CVC pressure line cable to add SVR etc.
